ImageReady from Illustrator
The images in the previous post were exported directly from Adobe Illustrator. I frequently use the Save for Web feature, which is ready a lighter version of ImageReady — the web-side of Photoshop.
First off, the keyboard shortcut is Ctrl + Alt + Shift + S. Anything that has has a four button keyboard shortcut must be good, right?
By default, you will see the 4-Up tab with your artwork cropped to artwork itself — even if your artwork falls off the page. First thing that I like to do is change the image size so it is clipped to the artboard/page; this provides me with expected results. From here I can also adjust the output size to create my large and thumbnail images.
