Narrowing Down

I am looking to focus my technology learning to a single language and a single framework. It has become more important to my business that I am expert in one… than to be a jack of all.

At this time, I am heavily leaning towards PHP as my language of choice. It is free, open-source and well supported. It also has a good and long track record.

Regarding frameworks, I am look into Zend, Symfony and CakePHP. The current bend is towards CakePHP, but I have not made a definite choice yet.

Oh wait. Yes, I have. I’m sorry, but I just don’t have it in me right now to type it all out again. Besides, it was just ramblings anyway. You didn’t want to hear me go on and on about this, right?

The purpose of this blog is to share the million little tips and tricks that I have discovered over the past 15 years as a graphic designer; this site will also be my digital playground were I learn as I share. The term beta seems to be popular these days and may be a good description for what this site is; however, I think it is more fitting to call this site intentionally-unrefined.

I can’t say that I know fully what content will present itself here. It will be an hourly discovery based on the day-to-day experiences that I go through as a graphic design, photographer, web developer, small business owner, productivity junkie and a student.
