Apple Safari on Windows

Apple’s browser Safari has been released for Windows, and it is currently labeled as a beta. I have successfully installed in on Windows XP; it is a quick and easy installation. It is disappointing how badly the browser renders text in general — everything is very chunky. A few of my standards-based heros’ websites cannot even be viewed in Safari — which is frightening, since many develop on the Mac.

I can only hope that this browser progresses quickly.

The purpose of this blog is to share the million little tips and tricks that I have discovered over the past 15 years as a graphic designer; this site will also be my digital playground were I learn as I share. The term beta seems to be popular these days and may be a good description for what this site is; however, I think it is more fitting to call this site intentionally-unrefined.

I can’t say that I know fully what content will present itself here. It will be an hourly discovery based on the day-to-day experiences that I go through as a graphic design, photographer, web developer, small business owner, productivity junkie and a student.
